MATT STEFAN (ANDREW CANTON)
Matt makes his on-screen debut in The Flats, rounding out his repertoire as a stage performer. Normally a comedic actor and writer, Matt has a penchant for strange and experimental characters.
Working with small, ensemble casts, he has appeared in many theatre productions such as Edward Albie’s Seascape, Durang’s Betty’s Summer Vacation, and Sondheim’s Company. At Huron University College he amassed over a dozen writing and acting credits with the sketch-comedy group HUDS, as well as producing and directing for 6 of those productions.
A native of Kingston, Matt is setting roots in Toronto, Ontario to pursue his acting and writing career. Matt can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
STEVE MACLEOD (DIRECTOR)
Steve attended Western University where he received an honour’s degree in
Media, Information & Technoculture (with a Certificate in Writing). He later attended Nipissing University where he completed his Ontario Teacher’s Certification.
Steve has worked alongside numerous Grammy-award winning artists, celebrities and political/community figures. In 2008, he was the sound recordist for the film Trigger. In 2012, he was the Webmaster for the critically acclaimed documentary: Charles Bradley: Soul of America. In 2014, he co-authored: Representing Sound Notes on the Ontology of Recorded Musical Communications. He’s also currently one of the members of the hip-hop group, The Niskeys.
He has three cats. Terry, Deaner and Grizz (aka “Tron”)
